Trapper Education Course

This course is not only for new trappers but also for those that are new to Alaska.Â
Our program covers the fundamentals of trapping and snaring in general, and in winter conditions / Alaska's unique furbearer's/ Alaska's regulations, and rules / ethics of trapping/ basic sets and general fur handling.Â

Alot can happen out in the Alaska wilderness when you're breaking trail, exploring areas or just running your line. Come join us as we cover basic maintenance, prior to heading out, and what basic gear you should be traveling with in the event of a breakdown or getting stuck in deep snow or overflow. We will also discuss basic winter survival, proper attire, cold weather injuries, and temporary shelters.

Predator Hunting/ Calling/ Night Vision/ Thermals Workshop
At this Workshop we will discuss different techniques and tactic's of hunting predators in Alaska, types and differences of mouth and electronic calls, different types of weapons used and why, basic furbearer care after harvest, types of night vision and thermals that are available, and Alaskan rules and regulations pertaining to night vision and thermal use.

Fur Rondy Fur Auction & Hide and Horn
